Just Sing Bognor meet in central Bognor Regis, two minutes’ walk from the railway station. This choir sings with enthusiasm and confidence and there is a great supportive atmosphere at our practices. Everyone is welcome, there are no auditions, and we work from word sheets. If you haven’t sung for years, or even been told that you can’t sing, this choir will help you and give you confidence.
This choir has given plenty of successful performances and Just Sing Bognor singers have enjoyed sharing their passion for music with their family and friends. Songs at their recent Showcase included ‘A Million Love Songs’ by Gary Barlow, the beautiful ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ from the film ‘A Star is Born’, ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Annie Lennox and the powerful sea shanty ‘Leave Her, Johnny, Leave Her’.
Singers often suggest music they would like to work on and songs are usually from the worlds of musicals, films and pop music. At their choir performances and at other social events Just Sing Bognor collect for local charities and every year take part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraiser.
Just Sing Bognor is linked with MusicSmart’s Felpham Community Singers and both choirs usually sing the same music. If you know you are not going to be able to attend one or more of your Just Sing Bognor choir practices, you can sing with Felpham Community Singers as a guest singer to make up your session(s).
