Felpham Community Singers is MusicSmart’s longest established Community Choir. If you would like to join this friendly choir you are welcome to book a Free Taster Week to meet the other singers and join us for the singing. The practice runs from 7-8pm and then most singers stay to chat over a tea or coffee until 8.15pm.
Practices always start with a few breathing exercises and a short warm up for your voice. We always work from word sheets and there are no auditions. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know if you have a high voice or a low voice; if you think you may have a voice somewhere, this choir will help you find it and give you confidence in your singing! Our songs change every term, and we love to have suggestions from choir members for new music. This choir enjoys songs from musicals, pop, films and folk music.
Felpham Community Singers love performing, and they have given many highly successful showcase performances. These concerts give everyone a chance to share their love of singing and let their family and friends support their passion for music. At their choir performances and at other social events they collect for local charities and every year take part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraiser.
Felpham Community Singers is linked with MusicSmart Just Sing Bognor choir.
